Zanzibar is such a beautiful island with a hundreds of Hotels, The handling of food waste, garden waste and other waste is a challenge since most of the hotels are not implementing grouping or sorting of wastes into recyclable groups. Green composting is looking forward to cooperate and partner with the hotels to make sure hotels are doing proper waste disposal into recyclable groups and conduct recycling of food waste and garden waste to compost.
We are currently Collecting & Recycling Food Waste and Garden Waste from a total of 5 Hotels across Zanzibar Island, We are looking forward to reach more hotels and other point source of Food waste & Garden waste
We are avoiding vulnerable disposal of Garden waste (like burning) by processing them as source of Carbon,C (Brown material) to compost making
